About the Scholarship:
NSVRC and SCWCCF are partnering to combat the growing shortage of qualified vet techs. The funds raised will support Vet Tech Certifications, providing essential financial assistance to aspiring veterinary technicians who play a vital role in the future and availability of quality animal care.
Brew-Pet Contest: Your Pet Could Be a Star!
Turn your pet into a local celebrity while supporting a GRRRR-EAT cause.
If you win, your furry (or not-so-furry) friend will become the inspiration and face of a limited-run beer brewed by the award-winning, female-owned Atrevida Brewing of Colorado Springs.
How it Works:
- Enter your pet—it doesn’t matter if they have fur or scales, they just need to be your pet! The entry fee is $50, and entering is as easy as uploading a picture of your pet, their name, and a short description of the joy they bring you.
- Collect votes by sharing your pet’s entry with friends, family, and anyone you know! Each vote costs $5, and all proceeds will go towards the Vet Tech Scholarship Fund.
- The pet with the most votes by 5:00 PM on the Monday, Oct 28th will be declared the winner and the inspiration for a new brew.
